Outreach To AthensFrom Redeemer's start, showing mercy and compassion to those near us is an indispensable part of living out our desire to be a church for the city of Athens. These ministries provide opportunities for us to form relationships with people from our community. We do this in and through the love of Jesus Christ in a variety of ways. The Downtown Ministries (Falcons) is focused on the youth from our surrounding neighborhoods and from the families of Redeemer. Downtown Ministries offers football, basketball, cheerleading and tutoring programs for these youth. Click on the Downtown Ministries tab to the left for more information. We also have a Benevolence Ministry to help those with financial needs and we offer free classes in English as a Second Language (ESL). Click on the ESL tab in the navigation bar to the left for more information. Near the Cross is a ministry we provide for people affected by sexual and relational brokenness. |
