Redeemer Ministries Our desire is to be a church for the city of Athens. Redeemer strives to be a place where both the Christian and the non-Christian can discover and explore the extraordinary claim (and the implications) that Jesus was raised from the dead. As C.S. Lewis states so clearly, “Christianity is either true and of infinite importance or not true and of absolutely no importance, but one thing Christianity can never be is moderately important.” We come together for worship on Sundays at 10:30 AM. Our worship consists of singing, reading the Bible, praying, teaching and celebrating Communion. Click here to hear and/or download some of our music! Throughout the week in and around the city of Athens, we meet together in smaller gatherings that we call Community Groups.We offer classes on Sunday mornings (9:10 AM) for people of all ages where we study the Bible and its practical implications for our lives. In addition, we offer opportunities to study theology throughout the year. |
