Women's Ministry

The purpose of the Women's Ministry is for every woman to know Christ personally, love Him deeply, and be committed to extending His Kingdom in her life, home, church, community and world.  

Women's Ministry Calendar:

*  Tuesday Morning Bible Study - from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, September through May.  This study meets at the church and babysitting is provided.  Our Kick-Off Brunch is Tuesday, September 7th at 9:30 AM.  Please join us!

*  Thursday Night Bible Study - from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, September through May.  Our Kick-Off potluck dinner will be Thursday, September 9th. We will meet at Janneke Counts' home, 121 Onyx Place, Athens, GA 30605. E-mail Janneke (dutchgirl_jc@yahoo.com) for directions or questions.

*  There are Large Group Events throughout the year: Game Night each January (January 14th, 2011) and The Spring Social Supper each April.  See Upcoming Events Below.  

*  Serving throughout the year:  Redeemer Meals Ministry, Greeters Ministry, Mercy Ministries, and Downtown Ministries.

UPCOMING EVENTS
*Chocolate Party: Coffee and Dessert - Friday, October 1st, 7 PM - 9 PM.

*Redeemer will be hosting the GA Foothills PresWIC Fall Brunch on Saturday, October 2nd.  PresWIC includes women from other PCA churches in our area.  This is a wonderful time of fellowship, food, and worship.  A special offering will be received to benefit Downtown Ministries.  Please join us!

*Save the date for our Women's Retreat!  February 4 - 6th, 2011 at Unicoi State Park, Helen, GA.

The Women's Ministry seeks to glorify God in all that we do as we give Him praise with our speech, point each other to Christ, and reflect His character of love, grace, truth, redemption and forgiveness.
